The subject for this year's Chapter Challenge is a crane. Since its inception eleven years ago, this competition has achieved its aims in fostering collaboration and group work between members within IWG chapters. Each year the imagination, creative flair, skill, attention to detail and sheer hard work put into the Chapter Challenge make it the centrepiece of the weekend. There will of course also be the usual seminar competitions - The rules for these are here.

With demonstrations, competition displays, a wide array of trade stands and optional meals all under one roof there will be something for every woodturner at the IWG National Seminar 2019. Seminar pricing starts at as little as €130 for two days (excluding accommodation and meals).
