Short Report on AGM 2006
The minutes of the 2005 AGM were read and agreed. There were no matters arising from the minutes.
New Committee
The following were elected to the Executive committee for 2006
- President - Peter Mulvaney
- Chairman - Chris Hayes
- Vice Chairman - Willie Creighton
- Honorary Secretary - Niall Cahill
- Honorary Treasurer - Margaret Creighton
- Membership Secretary - Roger Greally
- Journal Editor - Hanspeter Bodmer
Motions
There was only one motion for consideration by the AGM:
This Annual General Meeting directs the incoming Executive Committee to amend paragraph 4d of the Guild Constitution to read:
“The Guild Council will consist of the Honorary Secretary of each Chapter. The President of the Guild will be the chairman of the Guild Council. The Guild Council will retire annually.”
Proposed: Owen Furniss Seconded: Brian McAdoo
The motion as outlined above was withdrawn.
